Stay Away from AXA Assistance USA

Worked with several good, hard-working colleagues.

Cons

Horrible CEO who rules through fear and intimidation. He has zero respect for any of the employees. The corporate culture and work environment is unhealthy, the company has no sense of direction, and "progress" is not in its vocabulary.

Pros

The people are wonderful overall. Benefits are great.

Cons

Expect to work long hours, definitely understaffed. New CEO is not in touch with employees at all. He is a micromanager and doesn't listen at all. If you want to know how NOT to run a company, look at him. Senior management, for the most part, will not stand up to what is right if you disagree with the CEO. He has no self awareness.

Pros

Company offers great benefits, which it balances with very low pay. The company tends to hire young, fun people - I met some of my best friends here.

Cons

Very low moral due to low pay, chronic understaffing, heavy/often unmanageable workloads, and uninspiring management.There is almost no path to moving up in the company, and anyone with anything above entry-level positions seems to have been there for 5 years or more.
