Pros
- Very smart technical experts, nice colleagues - Relatively little pressure on profitability. Strong focus on technology leadership: Endless resources for development. Good if you are a technical expert and want to do R&D. - Cultural diversity (on the working level, whereas the HQ management is most German/Austrian)
Cons
- People with no leadership skills or business understanding are promoted to managers. - Top management unbelievably incompetent (with few exceptions) - Promotions are not always in line with performance. Yes-people succeed. Office politics play an important role if you want to climb up the corporate ladder. - Very conservative in what it takes to gender. No women in leading positions.
