      Global company Cool atmosphere Pays fine but has better alternatives in automative Young team but do not hope to rise and be a manager among them, there is certanly enough of these already. Team is alumni of highly respected institutions mostly

      Cons

      Being a contractor No long future as to retire Software and Calibration engineers work global but, being a best(low) cost alternative in AVL global, low expertise jobs are handled mostly Mechanical engineers are working as a Ford contractor, jobs are mostly the ones Ford employees do not prefer to handle Job interview gives you the idea of rocket science but the job is daily automative design processes Management does not act as a corporation sometimes but more like a one man made company

      Pros

      Professional environment with a great work life balance. You will be surrounded by many intelligent and hard working individuals that make coming to work exciting. Not too large of a company that you are still heard but large enough that there is structure and opportunities. I have been here for almost 3 years and plan to be here for many more to come.

      Cons

      I honestly do not have anything negative to say. It's a company, so there are things that will always come up but can confidently and truthfully say I think AVL has the best of all words - pay, challenge, work-life balance, opportunity and they are not going anywhere anytime soon.

      Company is Very Good But management is Very bad

      Pros

      Salary on time, People spend here 10,15 20 years, 8.5 hours working in a day, No problems to taking leaves, sometimes people took 45 days leaves for their marriage. No late stay.

      Cons

      Very much favoritism. Lots of politics, people think more on how to kick out others to take the retirement. Skills set problem in upper management. They don't want to learn new things and never understand Juniors. All the work and tasks are given by Graz. More creative and difficult work is done in Graz only not in India. Juniors join and leave in 3-4 years because they never see any growth because seniors are never leaving the company.
