Pros

diversity and inclusion is great here, i'm neurodiverse and was accepted and supported in my role at all times. On site Leon cafe albeit pricey! The Collegues you work with make Asda what it is, made some life long friends here through many ups and downs. The culture is by far the best thing at Asda.

Cons

Pay isnt great, you can have a lot of responsibility put on you, but arent always valued for your contributions. Other companies pay a lot more for the same job position and each grade banding isnt transparent. you can be the same level as someone else and do the same role but be paid £5 - £10k less. Redundancies and cost cutting is in Asda's blood, it happens all the time unfortunately and it can be quite brutal based on some of the rationale that Senior Managers provide.

Pros

Asda has ok benefits such as a 10% colleague discount.

Cons

Staff are not replaced when they leave. Resulting in departments running on a skeleton crew, with the same workload. Went downhill rapidly after Walmart sold the company. New CEOs are cutting costs everywhere. Even the vending machines in canteens were deemed "too expensive" to keep
