Pros

coffee machine for employee, have a few free options

Cons

In city centre store, Masie and Ryan are not good at all, just not good environment once around them. Once they got the power (like becoming section leader), they start to treat people from an upper position which makes ppl uncomfortable and feel suppressed and being pushed so much (like doing a lot of cages which is unrealistic)

Pros

10% off at ASDA Leon in the head office Pay is industry standard

Cons

Do not come to ASDA if you are looking to progress within your career. Management is awful, I have seen them whistling and snapping their fingers at employees to get their attention Senior management is rude and disregarding to staff, I have seen management shout "Out!" to staff in a meeting room so he could use it instead. The amount of people who have been there 15 years, never been promoted and stuck in their own ways is outstanding. Multiple shock redundancies while I was there and the way they do it is awful. I never did a piece of work where I saw an outcome of it, or even really recognised by anyone other than my manager Day-day work is mind-numbing and other employees are not approachable when asking for help Business is doing terribly at the moment so increased pressure on people who's work is disregarded anyway! Apart from the Leon in the office it is a mess, everything is broken and falling apart. Multiple plugs dont work which is a genuine fire hazard but no one does anything. Toilets are the worst I have ever seen, a portaloo in a fair genuinely smells nicer and is cleaner
