Pros

Easy work for a good wage, much less customers during the night shift and so more time to do work, very flexible with my hours and lots of overtime available.

Cons

No increase in pay for overtime, I worked 10pm-6am and if you work after 6am then instead of pay increasing for overtime it decreases to daytime rate.

Pros

10% Discount card, double discount day in November, annual bonus, great colleagues, and great xmas parties. The store social fund also organises great days out too. The company also has a good ladder of promotion but please read below too.

Cons

Does not pay its home shopping drivers extra compared to that of a shelf replen assistant etc... Management treat colleagues very poorly, and will discipline/dismiss colleagues on a whim. You can work long hours in a very stressful environment, and contracted hours are very poor. The company does not have good relations with trade unions etc... and will frequently ask colleagues to do unreasonable tasks. It is extremely difficult to progress within the company, with a 'if your face fits' policy.
