A good "in" corporate jobs

Pros

A good name to have on the CV, relaxed environment and understanding colleagues and line managers in most cases.

Cons

Salary reviews never happen. Been put on a salary at the beginning and never reviewed, despite salary bands been raised (new hires with less experience paid more than seniors). Policy "work where it works" being scrapped for a forced return to the office, despite all communication and processes are online and you almost never need to sit in a conference room with other staff.

Pros

Not much … Discount card, double discount randomly throughout the year …

Cons

Extremely poor management of business, zero training on anything, if they do train you they just show a “video” to cover themselves… management swear & shout at employees all the time, bullying toxic work environment, little to no thanks at all for hard work, section leaders stand clapping hands shouting (and swearing) at colleagues to work faster whilst doing nothing, double standards by managers over everything, shop is always a mess, no handovers, colleagues disciplined over thing’s management do all the time, management have no clue of their own company policy at all, rude obnoxious senior management, management will walk past you like you don’t exist! (Happened daily for 8 years) no help at all, they forge info on feedback to make themselves look good, corruption is rife within this company. If I could give zero stars I would. Ageist company, only interested in employing students or young people they can “mould” to the Asda way (I got told that by a manager) problem is the younger people don’t take the abuse & just walk out after a week or so !!

Pros

There are no Pros about this Asda Store

Cons

The Asda Wallington Store is not a good store to work at because it does not comply with their own policies only when it suits them its all about whether your face fits and not about how hard you work how long you have worked for the company or how good you as a worker the level of bias favouritism racial discrimination and victimisation from certain managers is absolutely shocking! and when you try to address the issue with head office or any member of the Asda executive team they always always always ! take the side of the managers all that I have said is completely true and unfiltered and soley based on from my own personal experience of years! of working at the Asda Wallington Store.
