Pros

If you brown-nose your way you can get along.

Cons

Totally run by bean-counters and the new team of "scientists" who don't even know what shinola is. Too many managers, not enough underwriting. They will likely disappear up their own expense ratio - or go out of business by cutting all their staff - rumor is another 20% to go soon... Career development not followed up on.

Pros

Nothing. This place is awful. I would not recommend working here to my biggest enemy.

Cons

This place is a JOKE. The Management staff (if that is what you want to call it) is the most incapable, inexperienced, lack of confidence, negative, racist, demoralizing, and childish as I have ever worked. There is not one good thing about this company.....I take that back, they have free coffee for the employees. Besides that....NOTHING.

Pros

If you negotiate well going in you can get a reasonable salary. The offices are fairly nice and the benefits are good if you are able to use them.

Cons

Absolutely zero training in software and lack of IT assistance. It takes weeks to get a problem fixed and this is company-wide. There are no on the ground IT helpdesk people to assist. Software packages are rampant with no explanation of a) why you need it or b) that it will actually work at any point in time. They've gone to managed printing and we experienced weeks of it not working. (This in pursuit of the paperless office. I suppose that's one way to get there.) The attitude of the CEO and the staff I've dealt with is "it's your problem. Fix it." The HR department gave absolutely false information in the door. There are no raises available period. While I understand a freeze after the bailout, that money has been paid back and the company is recovered. How can a huge corporation function with no well trained HR staff and an inept IT department? Biggest mistake I have ever made.
