Screening interview consists of SQL and product sense or analytics questions. SQL was needlessly difficult. They had a bunch of seemingly related questions that are, I believe ordered by difficulty level. Interview skipped first of couple of questions and went to one of the middle questions. After answering she moved to another question which were supposed to be an add on to the one I just answered but really was not. In the end it seemed like I was just put thru a SQL wringer just being asked follow up questions that were in themselves full questions that required a good amount of time to solve. It just seemed they wanted it to be difficult just to be difficult. It was a bit exhausting.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Nov 2021
Interview
Applied online. Couple days later HR contacted and set up 30 minute call, did not show up, did not answer email. Two weeks later, he answered and said he forgot the meeting. Then set up another call, didn’t show up again and said he was sorry, he forgot. AGAIN. Then called me after I accommodate him, listened to me, a day later, said the department has no interest in my profile. OK.

HackerRank Data Assignment, statistic, business case, sql, modeling using python
HM Screening
You can control how fast or slow you want the process to be. Pretty standard large tech process. The data assignment was hard. I knew at least 3~4 other candidates who didn't pass the test.
