I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target in Aug 2010
Interview
I submitted my application online. About a week later I got an email to schedule an interview. I called and scheduled. I was applying for a Team Leader position (hourly supervisor). The first interview was with an Executive Team Leader (keyholder). It was pretty brief and nothing really caught me off guard. It was the usual stuff, strengths, weaknesses, etc. The next interview (I had right after the first) was with the Store Team Leader (store manager). His questions were more about team leadership, who I've mentored, and things like that. The last interview was with the District Team Leader. Again, nothing really challenging.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All of the questions were pretty standard. The big thing to focus on is "scope." Target likes to see that you're focused on the big picture. Talk about the things you did and how they affected your whole store, not just you or your immediate team.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (New York, NY) in Jun 2013
Interview
They start you off with a phone interview followed by a face to face interview with an executive, and a final with the district manager or store leader. The interview questions are basic "tell me about a time when..." And a lot about delivering excellent service to the guest and how you would do that

Question 1
Tell me about a policy you do not agree with And why.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Boston, MA) in Sep 2013
Interview
I was an internal hire. Was recommended for a Team Lead position by my store and went straight to a phone interview with the District Manger. Spoke for about 15 minutes and got the position.
