I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
The hiring process was long. I spoke to a recruiter at school job fair. Then I got my first face to face interview with an ETL. Second and third interviews are back to back in a district office with an STL and DTL. Both of them are very friendly. My last interview was with a HR manager and that was a very short phone interview. So prepare your answers in STAR method because they like to ask "tell me a time" question.

Question 1
Tell me about a recent project that you did and walk me through it step by step.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
I applied online and about two weeks later I received an email from a recruiter. Then I had a phone Interview with that Recruiter (no more than 30 minutes). Then took a math assessment test online (all answers are available online-took about an hour). I then Interviewed at the district office with an ETL, followed by a second in person interview the same day with a different ETL (I was there a total of about 2 hours-including wait time). Next I did a job shadow in the store (1.5 hours). Lastly, I met with an HR manager (30 minutes after 45 minute wait time). About two days later I received an email saying they decided to go with other candidates.
The interviews were very easy; all behavioral based. The interviewers have a packet that they read from with 4-5 behavioral based questions and they write down your response. They want to know briefly the situation, what YOU did, and the outcome.
The recruiters/schedulers were extremely organized; however I had to wait 10-15 minutes for my first interview, 30 minutes for my second interview, and 45 minutes for my last interview.
* Each interviewer mentioned the difficulty of the hours and the high turnover of ETL's. They said they work at least 10-12 hours per day 5 days a week and have several middle of the night shifts and work every other weekend.

Question 1
What are your salary expectations? I believe this is why I didn't get the job. I researched the average salary for this position in CA ($40k-$70k). I asked for the upper end; I should have not given a definitive answer. I later found out that they typically pay around $45k.
