I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Springer Nature in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied online and went through a phone interview which asked really basic questions about my interest in the role. I was invited to an in-person interview and they asked more about the role itself, my experience and how it relates to the role. There was a short assessment. The process was straightforward.

Interview
I applied online through their online application form. I had to attach a CV and a cover letter. Then, about a week after I was invited for a phone interview four days later. The phone interview was relatively painless, just make sure to have examples of how you fit the job description. I should hear back about this by the end of the week when I will find out whether I have gotten through to the in person interviews or not.
