I applied online. I interviewed at Safelite AutoGlass
Interview
I had an absolutely terrible (and strange) experience interviewing with this company. My first phone interview was missed because apparently the interviewer went into labor (understandable). I rescheduled for a few days later. No one called, and I sent an email confirming my phone interview and asking if anyone would call me. Someone called me 5 minutes later. However, this interviewer thought I was someone else apparently and when I told him what position I had applied for, told me he has no idea who I was and didn't even have my resume in front of him. I offered to reschedule the interview so he could prepare, and he said no, let's do it and then you'll get another one. So instead of asking me ANYTHING about myself, experiences, education, anything, he went on a tirade about how Safelite is the best company, and then proceeded to grill me on Safelite's products, industry, and history. I also told him I had heard good things about working for Safelite over the years, and he demanded details about the names of those people who had told me that. After his grilling session, he concluded the interview and said someone would reach out to me the following week to schedule my actual phone interview. No one did, and then I got a notification from LinkedIn stating my application was rejected.
This was probably the worst interview I've ever had, with a completely unprofessional and unprepared HR representative, and had I been offered a second interview, would have declined. This is not the kind of company I'd ever work for.
