Interview process was extremely tedious that included a presentation and role playing activity judged by a panel. The role play scenario had nothing to do with the job I was interviewing for so the persuasion skills they looked for were tough to show. After this I was strung along for a few weeks. I had one follow up voicemail that stated they were still “very interested” 3x during the message and then 2 days later was told they went with a different candidate. Would have preferred some more transparency there but otherwise the recruiter was extremely nice and friendly the entire process.

Starting with internal recruiter to get the general sense of the team and project. Then the next one with the Manager of the team that described further of the responsibility of the team. Then with a group of senior engineers for technical interviews.

The interview process with Safelite was truly amazing. The entire process went seamlessly from application, to scheduling, and through interviewing. Any questions I had were either answered immediately or followed up upon promptly. The team also made the uncomfortable interview process the exact opposite. Their goal was to make you portray the best version of yourself.
