I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Safelite AutoGlass (Chandler, AZ) in Dec 2018
Interview
I did an app on indeed. They let me come in for a interview, then I had to take a personality test and face to face interview. I was offered the job right on the spot.
I applied online. I interviewed at Safelite AutoGlass (Rio Rancho, NM) in Jan 2017
Interview
This Interview took several hours (FOREVER). It was an open interview and I applied before I got there. Once I got into the interview, it was quick. The gentleman who interviewed me was quick, and I was offered a job on the spot. I went through some scripting, and did a sample computer and listening test. It was pretty easy. About 8th grade level.
After that, I did my acceptance of job information. This is where stuff got messed up. I was asked if I needed any pre-approved days off, I needed 5 days for a vacation and one for the local election that I was working. I was told that I was NOT allowed to work those days because they conflicted with the training. None of these days were noted on my file, and neither was the person who took my information down. It was incredibly difficult to get my vacation approved. I was not allowed to work that day either. Many people were allowed to take a day or so off during my training class for many different reasons.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have any customer service experience?
Why do you think it is important to deliver a good customer experience?
Why do you think you are a good candidate for this position?
(I was also asked after reading the scripting if I have any acting experience)
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Safelite AutoGlass (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2016
Interview
There were two interviews. The first is an easy get to know you type of interview. The second is done by a job coach and requires you to work the call center software to demonstrate you know your way around a computer.
