I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at OPSWAT (Scottsdale, AZ) in May 2025
Interview
Disorganized Process and No Follow-Up
I interviewed for a high-level marketing role at OPSWAT and had a total of four interviews. Unfortunately, the process was disorganized from the start. The recruiter had difficulty scheduling and following through, even after I made time during my vacation to accommodate them.
I provided a comprehensive portfolio, including quarterly and annual reports from my current role, to demonstrate past successes. They later asked me to create a high-level marketing campaign plan for one of their current products. While I understand the need to evaluate strategy skills, this felt like free work. I spent 3–4 hours putting together a detailed mockup, including three platform-specific strategies.
Despite the effort I put in, I never received any feedback on the campaign or otherwise. No rejection notice. No thank you. Nothing. Just silence.
If you’re considering applying, be prepared for a time-consuming process with little regard for your effort or time. The lack of basic professionalism in closing the loop made this a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Question 1
What’s your approach to marketing technical or cybersecurity products to a non-technical audience?”
I applied online. I interviewed at OPSWAT in Apr 2025
Interview
I had a 15' chat with the recruiter. It went well, I really liked her, actually. She said I am fit for the job and she will arrange for me to meet the team. I then got ghosted. It's been 3 weeks now and no feedback. I did chase. Bizzare.

Question 1
Just talked through my CV and the tools I can use.
Had an initial screening interview which went very well and was told I would move to the next stage. Then I heard nothing. But I did get approached by other recruiters at the same company after being ghosted for the same role weeks later. Complete time wasters.
