OPSWAT interview questions

I went to san francisco 2x for an interview. It was maybe 4 hours of total time. After a lot of back and forth they told me they didn't want to hire a director role but instead hire an analyst. It wasted about 2 months of my time. I had to email the manager many times to ask what the status was and next steps. the only thing in return was that there was a change of mind. it was frustrating considering i had to take another day off work the 2nd time to meet the CEO. the company is privately held and he was very intent on running things his way
