I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at OPSWAT (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
I went to san francisco 2x for an interview. It was maybe 4 hours of total time. After a lot of back and forth they told me they didn't want to hire a director role but instead hire an analyst. It wasted about 2 months of my time. I had to email the manager many times to ask what the status was and next steps. the only thing in return was that there was a change of mind.
it was frustrating considering i had to take another day off work the 2nd time to meet the CEO. the company is privately held and he was very intent on running things his way
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OPSWAT (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Nice people there. I did not get the job. I was asked to write a program to find a file. It turned out more complex than expected. Need to create your own file system and the best data structure. Only did pseudo code on the white wall board for an hour. You can pick any language. I did it at home for fun. Now I now how to make viruses. Good luck
