The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Atlanta, GA) in May 2010
Interview
The interview process was basically a series of question that question you judgement, how well you work with others, how responsible, and accountable you are. They questions set up in a "what would you do" or "how would you handle this" type format. They also asked questions about different scenarios when working with others

Question 1
How would you handle a dispute between you and another employee?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Kahului, HI) in Mar 2010
Interview
Originally applied online through Careerbuilder.com and the Taleo online HR system. Gave standard amounts of information, and completed a 30-minute 140-question personality test. 2 Weeks Later, got a email that asked me to confirm on an appointment that they set at a nearby Macy's. I replied and accepted. I arrived, was greeted by the sales associate in the department I was slated to be working for, and waited for fifteen minutes while the HR Representative finished business and met me at another location in the Macy's. The interview was fairly standard, with questions like "What makes you special and valuable to Macy's", and "Do you know anyone here". Exited the interview with a semi-promise of on-call work. Never called back.

Question 1
What can you bring to Macy's as a Sales Associate?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Macy's (Lynnwood, WA) in Apr 2010
Interview
Applied online and received an email to schedule an interview. The interview was short with some pretty simple questions. Didn't hear anything for almost 3 weeks, then they called me in for a second interview. We'll see what happens there!
