I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hearst in Mar 2024
Interview
Sloppy and inconsistent at best. Seemed nice in the beginning, but also appeared that the HR group didn't know too much or have that many details about the open position. Maybe there was miscommunication between members of HR and the department looking to fill the position - but they constantly kept bouncing back and forth between scheduling the interviews virtually and in-person. No consistency or thought put into the process whatsoever. It also didn't help that two different HR reps contacted me to interview and also mixed up between wanting virtual and in-person interviews. The whole thing was a mess, and I gave up. I just told them I moved forward with another opportunity, and took myself out of the running for this role. It was ridiculous.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Hearst in Oct 2023
Interview
Multiple rounds: HR, hiring manager, person on the team, then CFO. For final round they asked me to come in to meet with the same 3 people on the team. I followed up multiple times and finally was told the position was put on pause after 2 months and then never heard back. Only found out I didn't get the job after I checked the application saying I was no longer considered. Otherwise, the team was nice people but quite upset of how things turned out
