I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hearst (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
First get a phone screen with HR recruiter and she is upbeat and optimistic about a possible great fit. I meet the new hiring manager who has an aura of not trusting anyone. He says I will move on to meet the team and then I get a rejection email after I sent a thank you. I have seen this job reposted over and over again . It’s one of those chronic candidate shoppers. Likely a bullet dodge. I sensed insecurities.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hearst (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2022
Interview
1. Call with recruiting
2. Call with line manager
3. Call with cross department team members
CV questions/situational questions. Overall Friendly.
However, I finished the full process and was ghosted by the recruitment team despite chasing for update/feedback. In my book, if a company doesn't treat candidate with respect, they won't treat employees with respect.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me something about yourself that's not in your CV
Scheduled for a phone interview via email.
During the process, HR person was very unprofessional and a mess. He did not really explain about their company and the position, and he was somehow rude. He didn't even call me on time.
