I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cummins (Columbus, IN) in Sep 2015
Interview
I first had to apply with my resume and then if you passed that first round of screening an interview was the next step. The interview wasn't overly extensive but just enough for them to understand the work you know how to do as well as your character and what kind of traits and skills you bring to both the job and the company.

Question 1
When was one situation in which you had to apply time management?
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cummins (Lexington, KY) in Sep 2015
Interview
I secured an interview by going to an engineering career and internship fair held by my university. When I spoke to the Cummins representative there, I mentioned that I live in the same town as the company headquarters and I provided a resume. I was also upfront with the fact that I was a freshman and I understood that most internships require more years of school. The representative who I spoke too offered me an interview for the next day on campus. The interview was one-on-one, and the representative I spoke to was conducting the interview. He described the interview as a behavior-based interview, but it seemed like the representative was omitting several of his planned questions. Overall, the interview was friendly, non-threatening, and focused on me describing situations where I demonstrated various problem-solving techniques or leadership roles.
