I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2008
Interview
One week after submitting resume to CIBC's online system, a call was received to schedule phone interview for the following week, conducted by the HR specialist in charge of the position. This led to 2 sets of 1-on-1 interviews over the next 2 weeks: one with the head of department and one with a director + reporting manager. A 6-page paper test was also required prior to the second 1-on-1 interview as another candidate for the position was being interviewed at the same time in the neighboring room. The offer was made in the 4th week, first by reporting manager via phone and then by mail with full details.
