I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Accenture (Kuala Lumpur)
Interview
Accenture use Performance Based Factor interview process. The interview will begin with background understanding and then to pick on a particular scenario which would make the candidate uncomfortable (i.e. what is the most difficult person that u have to work with). Questions after questions will be posed using the 'What / Who / When ' phrase but avoiding the 'How/Why' to derive the most'honest' answers out from the candidate.

Question 1
What would be your main area of strength or contribution?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Tokio)
Interview
I first met with external headhunter (first on phone and then face to face), then met with Senior Executive (hiring Partner). She asked about my background and my past consulting projects and experience in the industry in details. She explained about her needs and future projects, and people or corporate culture. She asked me a lot about how I manage people, projects, accomplishments and difficulties dealing with clients and how I handle difficult situations. Then I was asked to meet the Senior Executive head in the firm (her boss). It was mostly social but he asked about my background and what kind of projects I worked on in the previous companies. He then explained current/future clients and projects, my family background and educational background, typical interview questions. I then met with HR as a formality. Very social style overall, and the entire process took about 1.5 months from the first contact to the offer stage.

Question 1
What kind of projects did you work on? What were the toughest situation I faced in the previous consulting companies I worked for and how did I solve the problems? How am I perceived within the past companies I worked for (Mgmt. Consulting companies), and what do I think about how I am perceived to my colleagues or management? What are my weakness and strength, and how do they affect my life and my job? What am I doing to overcome those weaknesses? What are my short term and long term goals? What will I be doing in 5 years from now? What are my ultimate goals in life? Am I being interviewed by other companies, if so what kind companies are they? Why Accenture?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Accenture (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Accenture follows a three stage interview process. They will start you off with a phone interview where you speak with an employee for 30 - 60 minutes. the purpose is to vet you to see if you appear to have both the skills/background and the personality to be a fit at Accenture. If you pass the first stage, they will invite you in for a 1-on-1 interview in the office (or this could take place offsite if it makes more sense - for instance, a Starbuck's near the interviewers home if they cannot meet until after work hours). Finally, if you pass the 2nd stage, they will invite you in to meet with a Managing Director. In this case, the MD will be prepared to make you an offer (the package will have already been decided on), but the MD can also opt to veto the candidate. Watch your attitude and manners.
