I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (San Antonio, TX)
Interview
Process was great! Accenture gives you insight into the reality and the realism of the job, the workload, and expectations.
The biggest challenge was working with Accenture's recruiter. She wasn't always knowledgeable and she sent necessary interview times and locations at the very last minute. For 2 of my 4 interviews I didn't receive the information until late the day before.
She was kind and said I reminded her of herself, until I received the offer letter that I ended up declining. She seemed to have taken my rejection of the offer personally so then she insulted me, questioned me, asked me inappropriate specifics regarding the offer I accepted with another company and overall ended up telling me that I needed more experience if I chose to apply with them in the future. I think she forgot I was already qualified and was declining the offer... She then told me that the "only thing" motivating me was salary. I laughed to myself and then told her "Salary was a factor but it was not the determining factor". I entertained her by giving her detailed feedback line item by line item in the factors that we're make it or break it for me. When we ended the call, she was extremely unprofessional, sounded angry, and definitely reinforced that I made the right decision if she is any reflection of what my experience would have been with Accenture.
I still believe they're a good company and I did receive a good offer but some of the "promises" made by the recruiter were not in the offer letter and I also pointed that out. In ending my call with her, despite her behavior I did thank her and sincerely mentioned that I hope I didn't burn any bridges with Accenture in the future. She pretty much hung up on me.
Tell me in detail what was described to you by the 1st interviewer and talk to me about the different types of customer accounts and types of billing we have.
