The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Feb 2009
Interview
Phone interview was very typical. The questions consisted of name one instance where you had to overcome objections, dealt with a rude customer, had to explain...etc
1:1 interview: made small talk and was then asked to show her my selling skills by doing a small scenario of what I used to sell at my previous job. Was also asked to practice a small scenario and had to "sell her" one of the company products ( DSL service)
Work environment seemed very good, music playing in the background, casual wear, a lot praise from coworkers when sales were completed.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Pittsburgh, PA) in May 2011
Interview
Many of the interview questions revolved around past experiences and potential situations, especially in regards to providing customer service in a retail environment. This was for an interview right out of college, and there was little focus on classwork or any non-sales part of my resume.
The whole process was very straight forward, and it was very easy to talk to the interviewer and ask questions. In comparison to other interviews I have had, this was relatively low stress.
