      IT DEPARTMENT - Disgusting behaviour from senior leaders at every turn

      -Some of the people are dedicated and hardworking. -the technical stack is moving in the right direction

      Cons

      - In the IT teams, you are expected to work at least 6 days a week for 12-16hour days - where the "heads of" and "C level" have a choice to either look after their people or protect profits, they chose the later - they specifically choose to burn people out -. The sheer lack of strategy causes issues everywhere -its very burn and churn -there is alot of lip service from senior leadership -genuine lack of leadership across the IT space, with one or two exceptions -manic work atmosphere

      Coworkers and direct team leaders were often in the trenches together so got along well and initiated group activities outside work on our own dime

      Cons

      No culture. Absolutely miserable at times, if it weren’t for the initiative of hard working team leaders.
