I really don't like working here

Pros

The global experience here is amazing. I have been able to do things as a Wipro employee that I would not have been able to do working for other companies. My resume now looks AMAZING!

Cons

This company is very India-centric. The reasons I joined this company have gone away. Our benefits plan continues to increase in cost (60% increase for 2014), the work-life balance is no longer an option (I receive calls and "urgent" projects at all hours of the day and night), I frequently see local resources being passed over for promotions and opportunities to put an Indian expat in the role, the company cannot get their payroll systems right (my payroll has been messed up no fewer than 6 times in 5 years, as well as members of my team have had their pay messed up at least once or twice a year), our salaries are 20 to 25% below market (I have been interviewing for roles equivilent to mine and other companies are offering an average of 27% higher than my current salary), as a technology company, we do amazing amounts of work manually (i.e. pen and paper, Excel, and calculators), I could go on and on and on...

Pros

Chance to work in different cities within the US, but mostly in Northeast, NY, NJ, MA.

Cons

Have to be relocated to the cities where your project is. However, company will not provide living reimbursement. You have to pay for your own housing in the city where you work. When the project is done, you have to look for your own project. There is no organize way to find available project. Your manager could be different every year. Even though you may be assigned a manager, you rarely have face time with them. The annual review is a joke. There is no discussion of the goals with managers. They will just hand down the list of goals and tell you to do them. Many of the goals are irrelevant to what you are doing. The HR is probably the worst of all. No one will reply to email or phone call. When you finally reach someone, the usual response is "contact your manager".
