Moving to High Performance Culture is a mistake

Pros

Pay for the area is just about unbeatable.

Cons

High Performance Culture means that your coworkers now have a monetary incentive to throw you under the bus. Your bonus is based on your performance and the overall company's performance, ranked against everyone else at your pay level. Work life balance is fairly horrid at the higher levels.

category specialist program is geared towards people straight out of college. they are very rigid and don't flex to accommodate those coming in with more years of experience.
