Pros

* The Vodafone culture is brilliant, very supportive colleagues and supportive business, real focus on employee well-being, learning and supporting a wide range of topics * Colleagues - everyone is lovely and I've never had a catch up or support session declined when needed * Approach to hybrid working is really good * So many different areas to get involved in and so many cool projects going on * Very flexible working environment

Cons

* Lack of honesty or clarity from HR for graduates, a lot of misinformation, lack of information, changing information * On paper the idea of the scheme is brilliant but the reality is that your placements can be very hit or miss and may not always allow you to develop in the areas that you wish * Can sometimes feel as though youth are not valued * Sometimes hard to do your job as we are not provided with the proper development tools and software that we need * Lack of support on the technology streams - we were left without a point of contact for a good 5-6 months * Lot of uncertainty about a full time role at the end of the scheme

Pros

Money is okay. Flexible working is good as well as the way they support you with office equipment.

Cons

HR have no interest in Graduates and their experience. No flexibility to change roles or to go after your passion. Some teams / managers do not build a learning experience. They just give out mundane tasks with no learning / challenge / development. Then there is no support network from HR if you need help. They don't listen to development needs and team in charge of graduates take no interest in your experience. Awful onboarding with only 3 days of onboarding then straight into our teams. Some teams should not have a graduate. No interest in your aspirations or your CV or skill set as well as no interest in your goals.

Pros

Remote working and a great brand that opens doors. Some friendly teams

Cons

Lack of focus on customer service. Poor commission plan and unachievable targets which get changed in the 3rd quarter of the FY Only focus is to close business with no regard of customer delivery Billing and credit control teams have no accountability and its left to the Account Teams to do step in and help constantly Products not fit for purpose and normally a marketing spin Competitively out of touch with the current market competition Leadership lack focus and only want to see a number each quarter regardless of customer timelines.... Incorrect billing creating clawbacks for Account Managers.....you end up paying the company to keep you employed Business Finance teams out of touch with the market
