Pros

Through managing clients across all industries and business functions, working at Upwork provides you the opportunity to learn and improve your business acumen every single day. The Upwork solution can be incredibly impactful for clients, when leveraged strategically. This makes the job challenging, and rewarding. The potential of this company and its place in the future of work is tremendous.

Cons

Changes take place often, however, they are usually for the best interest of the company, the clients and the employees. The role is challenging at times, but ultimately very rewarding. Upwork has grown very quickly, so I can forsee it becoming more competitive to advance within the company. However, there are consistently new openings within the sales org that should continue in tandem with company performance.
