It is not only possible, but also welcomed, to explore areas and functions outside of your typical scope. I have been working at Uber full-time out of the San Francisco office and really enjoy the environment. I work with smart and hard working individuals and tasked with challenging work. Other perks include: -food & beverages provided at office -opportunity to visit and work out of other offices

Cons

Compensation is great but can be improved with 401K matching.
