Pros

Decent pay salary, so if work less than guarantee, you still get full pay Excellent benefits for a part-time employee, even in management Locations all throughout US for easy commutes

Cons

No respect from upper management, meaning operations manager and division manager Do not receive proper recognition for safety, attendance and overall work habits Pay raises suck compared to competitors and other part-time management positions Not all divisions of the operation follow same procedures

Pros

The benefits were great and the people you work around are good people. Rewards programs are phenomenal and the environment was fun.

Cons

The lines of communication were great among immediate management but the messages that came from above the immediate level were lacking and impossible to get in contact with.

Pros

Fast-paced environment (never bored). Job security. Advancement from within. Challenging, rewarding work. Good, committed people. Pride in knowing that you work for a fortune 50 company, and help play an essential part in daily world commerce. Non-traditional work environment (ie no cubicle).

Cons

Very demanding work, physically and mentally. 24 hour operation equals lots of long days and nights (avg workday at least 12 hours). No guarantee of advancement through the years (limited openings). Decent salary, but when I do the math to find out hourly rate, I cringe. Vacations are not very flexible. Holiday peak season-you might as well just live at the office for the month of December.
