Pros

The team at Typeform is really solid and the product is loved by our customers. The company has a really exciting growth plan and product roadmap for the next 2 years. The offices are located in Barcelona and San Francisco so you have a chance to travel to two great cities for work

Cons

Working with teams located in other timezones can be challenging, but this challenge isn't unique to Typeform

Pros

Most of the individual contributors and middle management genuinely try to collaborate together. Positive intent all around. Positive energy around the new product strategy with formless.ai (however it is not aligned to growing an Enterprise business)

Cons

The CEO has become a lame duck. Hired a new CFO/President and now the CEO isn’t contributing nor bringing value. Aside from that, the CEO is not strategic at all and furthermore, seems to never take accountability for poor decisions. Has created a culture that pits one leader against the other. Typeform got series C investment as a way to move into the Enterprise market and they keep failing. They hired some experienced leaders in that space who’ve since left due to the “all talk, no action” partnership from those who know nothing about the Enterprise. Maybe they’ve decided to stick to SMB with formless.ai but haven’t communicated that to the rest of the company as recently as the company offsite in May. Some leaders clearly came to Typeform for the brand on their resume but can’t seem to dedicate a full day to actually doing work for Typeform. Way too many side hustles and personal agendas.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your positive experiences around collaboration and your excitement about our new product, formless.ai. As a PLG company, it is critical for us to continuously innovate and adopt new technology to stay ahead of the curve – at Typeform this most recently manifested as Formless. However, there is much more progress happening with our products that we share on an ongoing basis at our Company Demo – these developments collectively will allow us to unlock different levers of growth in both the SMB and enterprise spaces.

Pros

Remote company. Work schedule flexibility. Unlimited time off. Nice people and culture. Lot of diversity of cultures and backgrounds. Great product with untapped potential. New leadership team is experienced and seems to know what they are doing.

Cons

Not everyone is aligned around what it takes to have a winning company. There is a big gap between those with lot of experience pushing for necessary changes and those who only know early stage start up life. Sense of entitlement among some of the employees is often discouraging and frankly holding us back from success.
