Pros

World largest travel website with well globally recognized brand. Great people. Very welcoming environment. Top management very approachable. Everybody is kind and very helpful. The same time Trip is full of professionals and talented people. Don’t get discouraged by some reviews. They are coming from few individuals no longer with Trip. Keep up the great work TripAdvisor!

Cons

There is a good bit of work to do when it comes to reporting. Attainment report is a challenge.

Thank you for highlighting many of our top strengths. Our people, especially those here in Dublin, have proven intelligent, driven, and truly wanting to make TripAdvisor a great place to work. Over the last 5 months the sales team has driven the launch our Subject Matter Expert program, coordinate our Volunteer Month, organized industry events, worked across teams within the region, and driven good revenue back into TripAdvisor. This office is one of the best I have worked in. I also fully appreciate the concerns on our reporting and this is definitely a top priority for our teams to resolve. Great steps have been taken over the last 6 months to provide feedback to the sales teams so that they are aware of their performance. Over the coming months, more improvements will be made to make the reporting even more robust. As always, I hope you raise any other concerns to your manager or myself as they come up. The more we know the better we will be as a team, region, and company. I look forward to continuing our progress here in Dublin with people like yourself helping to lead the way. All the best, Sam

Pros

The actual job roles available in Oxford are pretty good but there is a massive disconnect between benefits and office facilities in the UK and the US. Bupa medical and Cigna dental cover

Cons

US employees have masses of discount and perks available which aren’t available to UK staff e.g. flight and hotel discounts, IATA discount card, loads of local discounts etc Employer pension contribution only 5% Holiday entitlement is only 25 days per year with no option to buy additional days like most other tech companies (especially in Europe) Snacks used to be really good and on par with other offices but have now been reduced to chicken feed style dispensers to save money Oxford office is looking very tired compared to London and most staff think it’s because it’s going to close soon
