Pros

Trinity is a great place to work, a community of extremely intelligent, well-rounded people with a shared passion for healthcare and fun. It's a fast-paced work environment - as you would expect given the type of project work, with exposure to senior-level client teams making big strategic decisions - but the company maintains a work-life balance that is far better than you'll find at other consulting firms. The leadership team is constantly focused on improving both the quality of work delivered to clients AND the quality of life for employees, a rare mix that pays dividends internally and externally. Trinity maintains steady growth each year and I'm confident in its outlook for the future.

Cons

Compensation for mid-level employees is middle-of-the pack for consulting.

Pros

The work we do is interesting and impactful. The people at Trinity are smart, motivated and fun to work with. The business is strong and Trinity's reputation is growing within the industry.

Cons

Work/life balance can be challenging at times, like in most consulting firms. Leadership needs to balance the emphasis they put on selling work / growing the business with making sure workloads internally are manageable and sustainable. Top talent often gets burnt out because they are worked too hard and don't feel like leadership understands the pressure they are put under and they feel under appreciated.

Pros

Trinity has been a wonderful place for me to develop professionally. The work is interesting and challenging. Our clients come to us with tough questions they face in this dynamically changing healthcare industry. I enjoy working with my team to find innovative solutions that make an impact on our clients’ business. Trinity offers new hire training, ongoing training, and other professional development opportunities (like attending conferences, continuing education classes, etc.) that have allowed me to continue growing and developing during my time at Trinity. Trinity hires very smart, driven individuals who are also good people I enjoy working with. The environment is intellectually challenging, but not overly competitive like you see at other large consulting companies. I originally planned to stay in consulting for a short period of time given its grueling reputation. However, Trinity’s business model (minimal travel and focus on work/life balance) have made me reconsider and remain open-minded to a long-term career in consulting.

Cons

Consulting is a client services business. The clients needs come first. Sometimes that is challenging when clients have last minute requests.
