Career progression opportunities and training

I have been very impressed with how understanding my team lead and department manager have been with my learning curve here. There is an incredible amount of support and training, and while at times it can feel somewhat micro-managing or overwhelming, the intent is always to support and train so that the employee can become the best project manager possible. There are ample opportunities to express how you are feeling with the training process and the job at large, and from my experience management is not only willing to listen to your struggles/complaints; they encourage open and honest communication. They have heard me out when I have voice my complaints and supported me in my goals to leave the company and attend law school, all without allowing it to impact my opportunities at the company during the time that I would be there. I have an incredibly high amount of respect for both this company as well as the individuals that trained and supervised me. Additionally, this company is VERY supportive of work life balance, encouraging all employees to take all PTO that is due to them and working with the employee to allow them to tend to their family and personal needs whatever they may be. And, as a final note, there is an incredible amount of diversity in the workforce here. The majority of employees in my department are female, and there is an incredible mix of race, age, nationality, etc.
