Pros

The people working in production are usually good colleagues though not necessarily the best at their job.

Cons

The company does not care about its employees if you don't work in sales or client services. They don't pay well and there is no prospect of getting a raise above 1.5% nor stable bonuses.

Pros

The only positive thing you can get from working at TransPerfect is the friends you make along the way and the massive experience in all things related translation but simply because of the hugh workload that's dumped on you.

Cons

Managers rarely care about their employees, they only care about directions given by higher managers. The recognition is close to none. The whole company is ruled by the Sales Department, that make terrible decision when it comes to project for the Production team then to try to make them happen at the cost of their own health.

Pros

You get your salary monthly (last working day of the month) in your bank account. Unless this would be your first job experience (so you need it to gain some experience or due to bureaucracy issues), or you desperately need some income for a few months: AVOID this place, please.

Cons

Job conditions: lower salary and worse conditions compared to other companies in the same industry, discrimination (depending on the market you work for, your salary would be lower or higher), difficulties to grow in the company (unless you are or had the guts to become a psycho without empathy and no care for your colleagues lives), no benefits (no private health insurance, no ticket restaurant, no fee public transportation and no free childcare if you belong to TransPerfect Global Connect plus just 23 days of holidays per year instead of 24 days). All these discrimination issues and no interest in improving workers conditions create a very bad job atmosphere which made you feel completely neglected; you feel like a number, no room for professional improvement, no appreciation for the hard work which had originated mental health issues to a bunch of colleagues, Besides, a lot of legal irregularities: avoiding salary raise marked by the collective agreement using lies and excuses, temporary contracts that does not apply, lowering the salary to the new employees after the mandatory new collective agreement raise published in June 2023.
