Pros

Friendly, supportive coworkers. Flexibility to either work from home or from the office

Cons

- Incompetent leaders/leadership - Lots of ambiguity, no transparency - Organizational structure is a joke - Unfair treatment - Business offerings have no competitive advantage, inadequate. Yet the worst part is they don't even care to improve that - The pay and benefits may not be up to your expectation. Need to bargain hard and in details

Pros

Competitive pay, nice office and you get exposure to one of the biggest companies in Asia.

Cons

Management is based of Chinese tech working culture. Unless your manager has relocated to Sydney and assimilated to the working culture in Aus, they will expect very long working hours with minimum support. Management will give you multiple projects with little direction and no prioritisation - I had colleagues working into the morning to get work done. If you can't speak mandarin you will have a hard time being successful in your role - think documents, trainings, infrastructure at times all in Mandarin. I know other aussie colleagues who have had better experiences so it's very very manager/team dependent.
