Pros

Team building budget Sick leave days

Cons

- Less PTO than other companies. - Work from abroad is less than it was last year. - Communication is the worst I've ever seen. - They tell you they're working on mental health support resources but whenever there's a confirmed case of mental health they just try to move that person to a different team where she/he will be 'not as stressed. - Nobody knows what's going on. - No training at a management level (Team leaders, managers) they expect you to 'Learn as you go'. - HR and management use the company values/culture to justify employees burning out. It's 'Always day 1' so you must adapt to anything as if you were a machine. - Lack of transparency in the interview/selection process.

Pros

Smart people at mid management and IC levels.

Cons

They lie about bonuses, distribution curves, salaries, RSUs Poor senior management Duplicate roles, yet don’t source roles needed Ridiculous sales targets, which leads to a finger pointing culture Lack of clear objectives globally each bi-month, leading to sales feeling as if they need to sell against 20+ products each bi-month

Pros

- Good Salary - Good benefits and perks - Good brand, hyper-growth, good for your CV

Cons

- Poor management (almost exclusively coming from Douyin, which is TikTok in China), bad communication skills, lack of empathy and trust. - Strategy is mostly to copy/paste what works in China outside of China (might work in Asia, not EU/Americas). You might push back, but you will be asked to execute and not make assumptions. - Work-life balance, mental well-being, and respect for personal time are non-existent concepts. You will be expected to work long hours, get pinged after dinner, on weekends, holidays. - Career growth, empathy, support, guidance, constructive feedback. Do not expect this from management.
