Starts good, ends in a tangled web of mess.

Holidays and benefits are good. Co workers can relate to stress and extremely heavy workload. Decent workspace available in most areas.

Cons

Changes occur faster than one can implement. Understaffed for extremely heavy workload, expected to "share" the mountain of tasks with those already buried in duties. Upper mgmt out of touch with the obstacles of the staff members. It"s all about money and data, no support for truly helping the customer. Too many micro managers delay daily productivity.

An okay place to work, but continues it's decade-old decline

Good initial compensation, very strong centralized and process-oriented IT community, impressive enterprise change management, quality control and testing, and problem management regimens.

Cons

For at least the past decade, performance reviews are still binned with quotas. Meaning, if you work very hard and are on a top notch team, you may still be forced to accept a low rating while someone on another team scores higher than you. Ironically, all employees are forced into accepting an HDHSP plan -- don't expect a decent healthcare plan working for this healthcare company. Company went on an outsourcing spree that bled most of the talent from the company. In 2011 and forward, as the employment prospects for IT continue to improve, expect to lose even more. However, it isn't nearly as bad as I've seen at other companies.
