Brilliant Placements!

I was quickly identified as being suitable for a long-term, full-time teaching role at a very good East Cheshire high school. Whilst I was waiting for the role to begin I was sent out to another school in the area to do some Cover Supervisor work. Sarah McKenzie and Adam Dawood at the Manchester office have been superb, at the interview stage and providing sufficient warning of a possible placement, allowing me to plan my time and journey. V. good rates of pay v. other agencies. Fairly close to home placements, unlike another agency.

Cons

The Manchester office sits on top of a Wetherspoon's pub. Their large breakfasts are no good for my waistline. Can lose some weight now I am on a long placement!

All the members of the team are supportive, patient and passionate about providing opportunities and advice. Working all hours, and always available - I would actively recommend TeacherActive to any prospective support teacher looking for work.

I love working for Teacher Active as the staff are always committed to finding me work, go out of their way to suit the work around my needs, and are always very pleasant when communicating with them over the phone. I would like to make a special mention to Adam Dawood who is always very passionate and supportive of my well-being.

Cons

There is nothing I can particularly mention that is a weakness of the organisation. I just wish more schools used Teacher Active so schools closer to me we're available for me to work at.
