Pros

HR policies, leaves, work life balance....trainings provided are good....you can learn a lot if you are a self learner.

Cons

Managers here have more than 20 years of experience... Basically you can say old people...old mindset....and old management. They do not focus on inventions and new ideas.....if they are doing wrong you are not suppose to raise your voice....if you do...you will be tortured in many ways.....all the managers have created a nexus together.... Even if you are not okay with manager's approach do not discuss it with any team member as any of them can be a tipper of that manager. HRs are in full control of managers...they will do only what managers want....appraisals are done on the basis of your relationship with manager....your work or performance doesn't matter at all....I repeat....doesn't matter at all....do not join unless you have 4-5 years of experience.... I do recommend fresher's to join this company as they will get at least a brand name on their resume which will help a lot.

Pros

(1)You'll learn Java if you are given java development. But in that too old technologies are used. (2)You'll learn how to create PPTs, word documents and Excel sheets even if you are from IT background. (3)You'll learn the management politics.

Cons

The points mentioned below are solely for TCS-SBI project. (1) No or partially working AC (small desk fans are provided that too in sharing) (2)Worst cafeteria (3)Higher management treats Junior employees as their servants. (4) No corporate ethics. (5) Mental harassment at every possible level. (6)No matter how technically strong you are, you should know how to appraisals solely depends on how you impress your managers. (7) Managers selects you as a developer role with a confirmation and puts you into Production Support role and getting out of it is difficult. (8) Taking leaves or comp-offs is a tedius task as they lack backup resources. (9) There's no point contacting HRs as they'll always favour senior managers. (10) No work life balance especially if you are into Production Support. I wish there was a provision of negative ratings because even 1 is way more than they deserve.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

I worked at TCS for 2 years, and I can confidently say it was the worst professional experience I’ve had in the tech industry. Despite promises during onboarding that TCS does not fire employees due to being on the bench, I was let go exactly for that reason. After giving my full dedication to a project with PwC (TCS’s client), I was released once the project ended and treated as disposable—left on the bench for two months before being terminated due to RMG's inability to find a new project. Management, overwhelmingly composed of Indian nationals, often displayed unprofessional and dismissive behavior. Communication was poor, transparency was lacking, and employees were treated more like replaceable parts than human beings. My 8+ years of experience and strong track record meant nothing to them. Shortly after leaving, I was hired by an American company where my skills were immediately recognized, and I was treated with the respect every professional deserves. TCS was a complete waste of time in my career. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values professional growth, fair treatment, and a healthy work environment.
