Pros

Pension, holiday concessions, training courses, some very good honest hard working people, the odd great supportive managers

Cons

People have to leave for their to be a chance of career progression, even then unfortunately the obvious people for the job get passed over. I had a terrible manager who made my life hell and was totally unsupportive. That led inevitably to my departure. Which is sad because I loved it and enjoyed my role. Despite raising concerns, nothing was done so why should I continue to suffer. Senior management did try to retain me but no money could've made me stay to continue working for a complete incompetent who is a robot and can only see things in black or white, zero interpersonal skills.

Pros

See the world, there are a lot of opportunities to progress in your career and move into different parts of the business.

Cons

Moving around a lot can become tiresome but that's when you can move back to the UK into one of the departments
