Pros

There are none absolutely None!!!

Cons

Where do I even start this is by far the worst agency in government it's a total nightmare going in there every day and I can't wait to get out co-workers, management, work environment couldn't be worse it really is one of the worst places in America to work it's gets worse on a daily basis and every time something even remotely positive happens management does their best to snuff it out. It's like they're allergic to a good work environment and morale is at rock bottom. Local management at airports is bad but it's nothing compared to those crooks in DC who work at HQ and take six figure bonuses while it's frontline employees can't even afford health insurance or gas for their cars. HQ is a bigger enemy to its frontline workforce than Al Qaeda. There is literally not one single positive to working here 0/100 on a satisfaction scale. Advice to prospective employees run as far and as fast as you can from this agency!!!

Pros

Entry level federal work that carries over federal benefits. The pay is decent and the schedule is flexible. I was fortunate that my management worked around my school schedule.

Cons

large focus on customer service. Short staffing and the inability to retain enough officers to meet departmental needs. Mandatory part time until picked up as full time.
