Pros

Decent pay for what you are expected to do

Cons

Some of the worst managers and supervisors you will ever work for. You are just a body. You dont matter. Management has their own little agendas. If you are percieved as sombody with a thought of your own you will be singled out as a trouble maker or they will try to terminate you before you can expose them as incompetent. They are also racially motivated and driven. Certain groups of people will always be promoted because they do not want to be reported aa the most discriminating agency in the government. JUST DONT APPLY. THEY SUCK BIG TIME. I worked there for 16 years and was always subjected to harrasment because I was one of less than 7 Asians to work fir TSA in Detroit.

Not for everyone

Pros

Good benefits and if you know its a temporary job its a good place to be but its not a career move.

Cons

Micromanaged, if you have a real life emergency they don't care you have to come to work. The make up rules that are convenient for the moment but violate the SOP. Not all managers are that way but a large majority are. They have no loyalty to employees who've been there since the beginning. They try to push them out the door.
