Federal Job with access to TSP, Insurance and other benefits.

Cons

Not the same as any other federal job. Benefits are lower, pay is on a different scale with no increases. The worst management in the Federal Government. Highest level of dissatisfaction on government employee surveys. Poor working environment, hostile public, no backing from management. Yearly testing to keep your job (testing is entirely subjective on the tester).

TSO is actually the easiest job. Discounts at certain companies. Uniform allowance Night differential for certain hours Time and a half if you work on a holiday.

Cons

You will start with low senority and it taskes a while to go up. Some of the managers do not have the best communication skills. At the start of your career there you wont have much say on your schedule.

If you go in with a positive attitude you'll enjoy the job itself I know I did.

Cons

- Everything is based on Senority so when you start your schedule sucks. - Mostly everyone that works there are not very happy but just do it because of the benefits. - Hours are horrible! No way to work around it.
