Pros

nice people (at advisor level), had fun days and charity events. Also was given a PDP to work on to self develop myself within the business although this was mainly pushed by own TM who was a rare asset to the business, training was great and fun too.

Cons

Terrible pay. Long hours. The PDP plan involved me working 40 hours a week of my own shifts with zero development on anti social shifts then commiting an extra 15 hours on average of my personal time which was all unpaid in order to learn management systems.

Pros

They try to have fun events like pizza day or popcorn while you pick up your check. However the cons outweigh benefits

Cons

Everyone you ever went to high school is there working(from your high school bf who now has three kids to the high school pot head ). The supervisors are more like babysitters, they have a title without much responsibility. The smees are the ones answering everyone's questions and yet do not have the same pay as the supervisors. There is hardly any advancement (yes this is why you have 10 yr agents on floor). They work you like a slave( forcing you to have bathroom breaks deducted from your 15 min break time ). Oh did I mention that the system crashes every 5 minutes and yet your the one yelled at for extended time (even though it's the system crashing that took you longer to finish your call). Pay is okay nothing special, but try to get a job on base instead.

Pros

A big company, international community. Opportunity to promote but mostly within your department and specific language skills.

Cons

Hardly you can promote to higher positions, only within your department and specific language skills. At my experience supervisors and higher positions employees were found outside of the department. Even if you have perfect education they are looking only to your specific language skills and want you at concrete position: call, chat, e-mail handler. Big minus - very stressful job and the local management do everything to make it even more stressful.
