      Company has not morals

      Pros

      The actual work itself is OK, the pay is average for the job and the option to bring your service vehicle home (home dispatch) is a plus for some people.

      Cons

      The management is very subpar, all they look at are your numbers or metrics. Quality is being sacrificed for quantity. The company is actively bringing in contractors to replace regular employees. The moral is low to non existent.

      Pros

      The company has a young workforce that is eager to work. There is a lot of potential for movement as it is a large company with many different departments.

      Cons

      Promotions can be hard to come by, more often you have to make a move to another department to snag a promotion. I felt that the company was also underpaying based on similar jobs held by other friends in the same industry. The company was very different in the early years under George Cope, so I think it was a shock to move over to the TELUS Corporate way of doing things.

      Pros

      good work style, sometimes can work from home. and usually get good support from the upper level managers, which is good.

      Cons

      communication among different teams needs to be improved, sometimes it is somewhat difficult to have all related teams to be on the same page.
