      Cons

      Create more opportunities for internal growth Review promotion process, it needs to be calibrated across the LOBs Review how we recognize the team members. (tenured people)

      Pros

      TELUS is very mindful of work/life balance and they have many programs in place to foster this. I am generally satisfied with the benefits that are available, they are extensive and unique.

      Cons

      The team environment is not as strong as they would like to think that it is. There are many times that team members feel alone and unappreciate by both direct support people and management. Like many work places, there seems to be favoritism that makes it hard to be positive and put forth your best work.

      Pros

      Good benefit coverage like pension, dental, or health. Telus has a solid reputation as a company in the community. There was some variety in daily work and there were efforts at engaging everyone from the bottom up to contribute time to community service and charities.

      Cons

      Salary was not competitive with industry standard. Weak on internal promotions or professional development. Senior management does not communicate well and there is a lack cohesiveness within the different business units. Union and management conflict is time consuming and ineffective.
