workload manageable, best Work from home option (once a month to office)

work with legacy systems. you can learn new things but don't get opportunity to implement what you learnt, average to below average pay. Some of the manager's are horrible to work with - they don't even smile or say hello. One of my friend's managers would send IM - not with "Hello XXX" or "good morning XXX", but whenever he needs to chant he would just type message "Ping". so unpleasant as if I do not have a name and my name is "Ping" haha. these kind of managers must be immediately %$#@& but Telus keeps them as pet.

The work is fairly easy. The tech stack moves more quickly than it used to. Remote work is a huge bonus. Benefits are solid.

Cons

The company tries to save money in the wrong places by firing people to meet fiscal goals. Yet they brag about record earnings. It really hurts morale. The overall pay is not great, it's lower than the competition.
